Nicholas Nathan WV 1780's

Nicholas Nathan is supposed to have been a Hessian soldier brought over by the British. After the war they were given the choice of returning or becoming a citizen and he wisely chose the latter. He had a daughter Sarah Catharine (Katy) born in 1788, who married Matthias Ulm. The Nathans may have moved to OH when the Ulm family did--maybe the early 1800's. Please contact me if you know anything about Nicholas. Will be glad to share what I know.
