Hi Prue, thanks for that info.I'm just looking at my Isaac Nathan (born 1790 in Canterbury, Kent) family tree.He had four siblings, but I think they were all born later than him (I think he was the oldest) so it means that it can't be one of his siblings and as I only know that his father was Menachem Mona (born c 1760, d 1823), I don't know his mother but apparently his own father was the last King of Poland, Stanislaus Poniatowski.
Its interesting that your family ended up in Sydney as well. There could well be a connection but I can't see where exactly. Are you in Australia?I find it interesting that Isaac Nathan is also a relative of Sir Charles Mackerras, the well known Aussie composer.
Let's hope we can find connection!
Warm wishes
Lisa :^)
