Robert Nason, born 19 September 1914, died at Oxford 20 April 1997, is probably the one you are looking for.
Robert P. was a son of William Ray Nason (b. at Howland 15 October 1881) and his wife, Ida May Crocker.
William Ray Nason was a son of Van Rennsalaer Nason and Etta J. Phillips.
Van R. was a son of Beniah Nason and Diana Inman. The ancestry of Beniah is uncertain.
