Hi
Baker Nason married Elizabeth Hatch in 1691 or 92. I have a transcription and image of his will that i obtained from the Registrar's office in York Maine. His wife Elizabeth and son Samuel executed the will. I also have same for his father Richard Nason, b. Aug 3, 1606 in Stratford-on-Avon, England, died Nov. 1624 in Kittery Maine. He married Sarah Baker (wonder where Baker Nason's given name came from?) about 1635 in Dover NH. Sarah died about 1663; Richard remarried in 1664 to Abigale Brewer (widow of Nicholas Fowlett). I also have probate records for John Nason, son of Baker. His will was written in anticipation of departing on the expedition to seige the fortress at Louisbourg in Cape Breton NS from the french. It appears that he died while on that trip. Please provide your sources for your earlier information about Baker having murdered his brother and the references to his land sale; these appear to conflict with the official probate records.
Contact me if you want copies of the above.
