Glenn, thank you for the most interesting information about the (Catholic) Nasi family of Renaissance Florence being conversos. I've passed this information on to William Kent, an eminent scholar who is working on what promises to be the definitive biography of Lorenzo de' Medici. This may already be known to him, but if not, it will certainly add an interesting dimension to the story of Lorenzo's last love affair, with Bartolomea de' Nasi.
