TW....I believe this is a good possibility for being your Harvey S. Nash with his birth family. Most of the other census' list him as being born in Ohio and parents in New York. I looked at the David Nash on the 1870 census who Harvey was living with. You know, because of the age of the parents below, David MAY have been Harvey Jr's brother? These census records are from HeritageQuest Online. 1860 Harpersfield, Ashtabula County, Ohio Census - Page 365 - Enumerated 23 June: H. S. Nash, 56, m, cooper, value of real estate/45, b. NY Mary Nash, 51, f, b. NY Marion Nash, 17, f, seamstress, b. Ohio Harvey Nash, 11, m, b. Ohio ----------------------------- 1870 Madison Post Office, Madison Township, Lake County, Ohio Census - Page 46 - Enumerated 4 July: Harvey Nash, 67, ? laborer, b. New York Maria Nash, 64, keeps house, b. New York (my note: David Nash and Harvey are living in Lake County in 1870, also) Here is a picture of Dr. Harvey S. Nash's tombstone: http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Nash&GScid=2139339&GRid=35091461& -------------------------- The entry below is from Ancestry.com. It MIGHT be the family in 1850 (Mary and Harvey, Sr.), but not sure. If it is them, daughter Marion and Harvey (Jr.) should be with them. I don't have access to the info, but will provide a lookup site so you can request one. 1850 United States Federal Census Name: Mary Nash Birth: abt 1805 - location Residence: 1850 - city, Lake, Ohio --------------------------- To request lookup: http://genforum.genealogy.com/recordlookups/ --------------------------- Good luck with your research....Pauline Notify Administrator about this message?
