I realise this reply comes a long time after your posting and you may have more info by now.

The info we have on Julian Onion is not the same as yours, we have a Julian Onion born possibly in India, marrying a Mary Anne Camsell in the 1830's, he subsequently took the name of Camsell, and it is believed that Julian and Mary are the parents/grandparents of Charles Camsell.
