Dorothy I just today saw your postings on Genforum. The Francis E. Narron you mentioned in your posting was said to have been an uncle to my great grandmother, Narcissus Beulah Holmes Valentine. The Holmes family lived in Greene Co., AL and were shown on the 1850 census there as were F. E. Naron and wife, Elizabeth White Naron. F. E. sold property in Oktibbeha Co., MS in 1867 prior to his making the trip to TX. My ggrandmother Narcissus came to TX with him with her three small daughters, the oldest one being my grandmother. This is such a long story that I'd like very much if you would contact me direct at so that I can talk with you personally. Thanks so much and I look forward to hearing from you. Laverne
