My 4x great-grandparents were JESSE SELF & MARY NARRAMORE. They lived in Jefferson Co., AL from 1815-1826. They had several children, one of whom was named Joseph. However, he would've been Joseph SELF. Makes me wonder, though, if Mary named him after a brother...

I looked through my Joseph Narramores and Mary Narramores, but didn't see a direct "hit".
