Emmily Jane Narramore was born 19 May 1850 to Tyre Elias Narramore and Vashita Daughtery Gibbs Narramore. The informant's name on death certificate was John Henry Ewing, her son-in-law, who married her daughter, Ellender Lurenda Elmore.
Emmily Jane married William Monroe Elmore on 4 July 1871, later married to S. Cady, with whom I am not familiar. Close siblings to Emmily Jane are Thomas F. (b1844) Harriet? (b1845), Mahala? Lucinda (b1847), Elias? G. (b1848), and Nancy Elizabeth (b1852).
These children were copied from bible records in the possession of my grandmother Ethel Beatrice Ewing Kisinger. They are proofs of lineage in application 11259 for membership in Daughters of the Republic of Texas, filed by my aunt, Mildred Ella Kisinger Barker.
I have seen Grandmother Cady's gravestone at Henson Cemetery northeast of Red Springs, Texas, but did not record the particulars..............billk
