Thanks for the Breeden post! I have changed the spelling of the name in my records from Breaden.
What is the source for the birth of Sarah Narramore?
I don't know anything about the "famous"Richard Narremore --sounds exciting! Thanks for the news that the name Narramore suddenly proliferated in the Breeden family. Did any of the other Breedens involved marry Narramores though? I see you are missing some wives' surnames... so there could be additional unknown Narramore lineage?
Where did you find your info on Richard-of-the-pirates story? It does sound as if he was plying the seas from a port in the right area, right time to be connected with this family. It would be nice if there were something to connect him to the family.
Thanks for the tip. I will keep a look out! Meanwhile, please let me know what primary sources you have checked. I don't have primary sources on the birthplaces for the children of Samuel Narramore (b ca 1680). They are said to be Lynn and Boston. Have you proof of this? You also said Richard of the "Sparrow" was out of Boston in 1689 for the pirate episode? Sure looks as though there should be a connection of some kind. Then again, I don't know how many Narramores were about Boston in 1680s...
Thanks,
Bonnie
