Bonjour Tammy,

The Naquin family is of Acadian origin. The ancestor Jean-Baptise Naquin arrived from France (unknown place in France) to Acadia about 1690. Some of his descendants ended up in Louisiana after the 1755 Deportation.

Naquin is just a name. It has no meaning that I know of.
