You're welcome. The more I read, the worse it gets. Did I mention, in 1691 Virginia passed a law against white persons marrying with Indians?

There's a lot in the Indian side of the research and information IS readily available.

"Thomas Bullitt established a public inn at the Warm Springs in 1764. Thomas received a 300 a. tract for service in the French & Indian War and commanded Ft. Delaware. Thomas and his brother, Cuthbert, tried to farm the hilly and boulder strewn valley but could not. Cuthbert Bullitt then left for Kentucky."

Do you have the census from Bath for 1850-60?
