WILLIAM P. NAPIER

I am William T. Napper descendent of Mary Napper of Caroline County Va. Mary was born 1785 and was the slave of William P. Napper. It's a long story, but I was able to connect William to Mary. Mary's family was later sold to Williams Carter Of Caroline/Hanover County. One of Mary's sons, Moses was a mulatto with William probably being the father. One of Mary's grand children was named William P. My Father is William T. Napper, I am William T. Jr. and my son is William T. III. Evidently the name William has been passed on without knowing the history behind the name. Now that I know, I think that is the end of the name William for a while (smile)

I am looking for descendents of William P. Napier of Caroline County. William was born about 1765. William possibly could have lived in Goochland as well.

It would be interesting to connect the two families together.
