Thacker, family and Napper,or Nappier etc. I am looking for a connection to a Colonel William Thacker that had a son named Reuben Thacker, William's dad was named John Thatcher or Thacher from Arundel Castel England. about 1613 or so?

Supposedly William married a Cherokee wife..
name unknown...maybe?

He may have been a Colonel William Thacker?

Reuben was born 1764 in Lynchurg Virginia.
I have a reason to believe that my Thackers came from England to New England, Mass about 1600 and up, and other and to Virginia about 1764 and previous? If any of this rings a bell or you have any information..please contact me asap.
