Grenadier from Frederic-Fontaine, France KIA in Spain

I had an ancestor who served as a Grenadier in Napolean's campaign in Spain. He name was Jean Croissant from Frederic-Fontaine, France and was killed in action either 1809 or 1810 in Spain. Trying to obtain any information on possible regiments he may have served with or an economical way to find out.
