Neil, thank you very much for the information so far and for the link. I would be interested in any names. Can you tell me where on the battlefield the soldiers of the King's German Legion would have fought? And which units of the French army they would have faced?

For anyone else reading this thread, I think French names would be of great interest to me, given the way the plot of my novel seems to be developing.
