Our family believes that Johannes Jacob Haas, born in Sissach, Baselland, Switzerland in 1794, served with Napoleon from 1809 - 1820, reaching the rank of Brigadier General. We believe that he was with the invading troups in the Russian Campaign, but have no other information. We would appreciate any help in finding more about him and his military service.
