Zlatica, First off his name changed back and forth from Andrew to Henry. He is Andrew in censuses and Henry on naturalization papers, but there surely was only one man married to a Cunegunda, so they are the same man. I don't have a place of birth but his naturaliztion paper says he was a citizen of Germany, although the family thinks he was from Poland. He was married in Toledo but I can't find a record of it in the civil records. I plan to look in the records of Cunegunda's church. I don't know what port he came through but I think it was too early for Ellis Island. I think he immigrated in 1890 or 1892. He first shows up in the Toledo city directory in 1899 but he may have been in Toledo earlier and not listed because he was living with his parents. There is an Andy in the 1900 census but I can't positivly say that is my Andrew. Thanks for the web site addresses, they are new to me.
