Hi,
I am tracing my Adkins heritage. In the 1880 census records in West Virginia, there are two children listed in the household as grandchildren. Their names were Merland Napier,(which may be misspelled)age 2, and America Napier,
age 3 months.
I believe that America married a Charles Napier, son of John and Elizabeth Napier. The West Virginia 1900 Census shows them to be 20 years old and having a son named John.
The specific information I am looking for is the name of AMERICA'S MOTHER. I believe that this is the America from the Adkins family that I am researching, and hope to find out for sure.
