JAMES NANTZ, 54, was pronounced dead on arrival at General hospital Wednesday afternoon.
MR. NANTZ was a retired Southern Railway System engineer and a member of Green Street Bapt. Church, son of MRS. MINNIE GAFFNEY NANTZ and the late W. ERNEST NANTZ.
Surviving in addition to his mother are ; his wife, MRS. MARY RAINES NANTZ; one daughter, MISS GLENYCE NANTZ of the city; one step-daughter, MRS. BESSIE LEE SUMMNEY of the city; 2 sons, W.ERNEST and JAMES R. NANTZ of the home; one step-son, LINDSEY McGRAW of Pensacola, Fla.; one sister, MRS. MILDRED PHILLIPI of Charleston, 3 brothers, FRED of Duluth, Ga., MIKE of the city, and EVERETT NANTZ of Charleston; 3 grandchildren.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. {Spartanburg, S.C.}
