The John Robert or John Jacob Nantz buried in KY I do not believe relates to the John or Jacob Nantz I am requesting info about.
My ancestor is Mary Ann Nantz bc 1817, daughter of JOHN or JACOB or both, JOHN JACOB NANTZ who had the title "Dr." but this may have not have been a medical title. He could have carried that title as a Reverand, or preacher. The name "Dr. Jacob Nantz" comes from a handwritten name in my family Bible.
My Mary Ann Nantz married John Holmes, 14 Jan 1838 in Lawrence Co., IN, son of Martin Holmes and Elizabeth Young.
Martin Holmes died as a result of a falling tree in Lawrence Co., IN in 1833. NOTHING IS KNOWN OF HIS ANCESTRY EITHER-----TWO DEAD ENDS IN ONE FAMILY!!! HELP!!!
