Alumni Cantabrigieness was compiled by J.A. Venn, a former president of Queen's College. This list of all known students, graduates, and officers at the University of Cambridge offers information from the university's earliest records which date from around 1261. The entire collection contains 10 volumes in 2 sets. The first set covers alumni from the earliest records to 1752 and the second set from 1752 to 1900. The compilation was completed in 1921.

V. of Burgh-on-Bain, Lincs., 1825-65. R. of West Barkwith, 1840-60. Married, Nov. 18, 1862, Maria Louisa, only dau. of the Rev. E. P. Hannam, V. of Borden. Died Nov. 15, 1865. (Clergy List; Crockford; G. Mag., 1866, I. 144; Burke, L.G. and Griffiths, Anglesey Pedigrees state that Robert Nanney died unmarried in 1803.)

School, Eton. Matric. Michs. 1852. Of Maes-y-Neuadd and Maes-y-Pandy, Merionethshire, J.P. High Sheriff for Merionethshire, 1857; for Caernarvonshire, 1858. Married, Dec. 27, 1859, Lucy Victoria, dau. of the Rev. Edmund Williams, of Pentre-Mawr, Denbighshire. Died in 1868. (Matrics. and Degrees, 1851-1900, calls him ‘Manney’; Eton Sch. Register; Burke, L.G.)
