The James Nanny who MD. Polly Williams in Muhlenburg Co., Ky. in 1825 (Feb. 15)was son of the James Nanny who died in 1833 in Spencer co., Indiana....these Nannys later spelled their names Naney...The elder James Nanny was son of Thomas Nanny who was son of the old John in Brunswick co. Va.....James sold Thomas's 300 acres he received from John in 1783 in Brunswick Co., Va....and by 1793 he was in Rutherford co. NC....then on to Ky..
