Mark, is this possibly, Thomas Nanny's son, James?...know he left Virginia and went to NC briefly...then on to Ky. and later Indiana....
I have a deed where James Nanny was deeding to William Ward in 1783 three hundred acres in Brunswick co......and that's the same amount of land that old John gave to Thomas in 1756 ...this was in Brunswick co. and wasn't proved in court until 1800 by some guys named Fletcher..(James, Richard & Nathan Fletcher)?????
