Dave,
Other notes. There is something at that Fairforest that "rings a bell."Don't know if it will help, but any clue is a good clue.
There is a Rev. Ray buried there with tombstone. He probably preached forever. His wife was _____ I think nee Whitlock and daughter of William (Union SC will 1803) and Mary Rountree Whitlock (Union will 1812).
If I can remember correctly, Rev. Ray's wife was sister of my ggg Mary Pollye Whitlock Long Bentley who went to Blount Co., ALA.
Hope this helps a little. It was so little I received from them, but I knew it was ok.
I never got to go to Fairforest in Union.Maybe someday.
I don't think I ever contacted any of the Ray[Whitlocks.Maybe.I have Ray on Mother's side in TX, but may not be same Rays.
If I think of anything else, I'll send it on.
I do not know who the Longs are, that are in our Bible as half-whatever from Mary Pollye
Whitlock Long Bentley in our Bible in TX.
Please contact again. My e-mail is bouncing.Contact me in June 2000.Should be ok then.
David in TX.
