Hi Michael--I'm delighted to hear from you. Frances "Fannie" McMurtrey and Steve Nance were my great-grandparents. He, of course, died in 1938 so I never met him, but Grandmother Nance lived until 1979 when I was in high school. She was a huge part of my life and is still deeply missed by my entire family. I think you mentioned that you're her fourth cousin? How exactly are the two of you connected in terms of family? I do hope your computer stays healthy...I'd be glad to exchange information with you.
