I believe that the data I posted on 4/07/2004 re: Josiah Nance's death has been mistakenly attributed to another Josiah Nance. I didn't identify that particular Josiah enough. All the data was correct and verified, but the Josiah Nance that died May 19, 1863 at the battle of Baker's Creek was brother to Wright Nance, Minerva (Nance) McGowen, and Sarah (Nance) Tate. He was born in TN about 1826. He lived in Wright County (1850), Christian County, MO in 1860. I have never discovered who his parents were. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience caused by me not giving enough details, but feel that I should try to correct this the best I can.
