I am decended from Lucy Carolyn Nance (my fathers mother). Her father was George A. Nance and I have no information further back than that. To be honest I just have not had time to research this line as much as I would like. Thank you for the books that have been mentioned in the replys. I will try to locate those and hopefully find something out about this line. Howard
