I can't say I "know" who her parents were -- but I have a theory. I believe that her parents were John and Martha (May) Nance, of Amelia Co. and later Pittsylvania Co. VA.
John and Martha Nance are known to have been the parents of Giles Nance -- and, I believe, they were also the parents of (among others) the Martha Nance who m. Zachariah Sneed, and of Clement Nance (the main focus of Part 1 of "Nance Memorial"), and of David Nance, who was my g-g-g-grandfather.
I have to add these reservations about this just being a theory because this gets into one of the big confusions in Nance family genealogy, and there are folks who have different theories. Anyway, you can read about what I think the situation is, at:
