To all the Nancarrows hello, my madian name is Diana Gardiner my grandfather was Fred nancarrow and his wife's name was laurel I hope this might help clear a few things up which was told to me by my mother who is laurel lesile nancarrow and now is laurel leslie gardiner she is the second oldest in her family, and was named after her own mother. My grandparents Fred and laurel had 11 children 7 lived and 4 died at birth.
Aunty Grace being the oldest,My mum being the second Dan,Robert,Cherie,Arnold, and Kay.I only know where a few of them are and my Aunty Cherie is the only one that is no long with us. As far as i know my mum lived with my greatgrand parents and had a very close bond with them both. She more or less grew up with my great aunties and uncles. My greatgrand father however who is commonly knowen by the name of (frances) nancarrow was one of the survivors on the lusitania ship that sunk,he was married to my great grandmother Hilda whom i do believe to have been a very compassionate lady.Hilda came from cornwall England, Her father was half american, quater spanish and quater cherroke indian their childrens names are Richard who is the oldest married to edna, Jim,John Tom,(Sid) who my mother thinks is still alive and is married to Joy, and their sister hilda who married a man by the name of jordon norman they had one son cliff and then there was my grandfather Fred. It was mentioned to my mum by my great grandparents that they did not know what passport to give my grandfather Fred as he was born on a ship coming over from england. My mum has also brought up some other names such as alica, which i still have to follow up. This is as close as i can get to the truth as it was told by my great grandparents to my mum I therefore wish any one the best of luck and hope that this shall enlighten you a bit futher to carry on in fulling missing links to the nancarrow family history. all the best diana
