Jenny, just reading through this I was a bit confused... I think the dates are a little mixed up. If William died in 1812, his eldest son couldn't have been born in 1834. From other messages I've read, I would suggest Henry was born in 1809 (also had a sister Jane born in 1803), but then the whole 1848 immigration thing becomes confusing.
