Nalley Family Genealogy Forum

For a while now I have been attempting to put together Elizabeth Nalley b1718 and Abraham Hargis b1707 in MD. I have been comparing the information in the "Seven Sons..." and information from Maud Roberts Martin, a direct descendant of Thomas Lea Hargis and would like some help/opinions, further directions. Here goes...
The "Seven Sons publication" goes into great detail, particularly following the line of John Nally Jr. and Mary Hargis (not working on that connection yet). However, the second son of John Nally and Jane Huschulah is listed as Joseph 1695-1768/70 m Eleanor. They are said to have had at least three daughters, Elizabeth, Martha and Jane. The book doesn't have any other information on the Joseph and Eleanor line. Now, because of all the connections of Haris and Nalley in MD what with land, deeds, will, etc., it is entirely plausible that the Elizabeth b1718 that married Abraham was,the daughter of Joseph and Eleanor. That would have made Joseph 23 years old when she was born. This is the closest match of dates that I have found so far. It also ties with the Hargis moves to Virginia, then on to NC.
I am in going to be attempting to tie more of the Nalley's to NC. So, if any of you Nalley/Hargis folks have any opinions, ideas or information to share I would really appreciate it. Even if you think I'm barking of the wrong family tree or have missed something that is out there, please let me know.
