My maiden name is Najera. I know very little about the name itself, but your web site is very informative and well put together. What I know about Najera is that it's also a place name, for a city in Spain. While Najera is a Sephardic name, there's a possibility that it could also just be an identifier for people from that city. Still, that's a nice web site you've got!
