Hi Elaine
I have a family in 1851. Census HO107/1833 Piece 1833 folio 298
schedule 143.
It looks like Elizabeth lost her first husband George Nash and remarried William
Cockhead. The Address is "The Forty" Swindon 2
Her three younger sons are still with her Henry, Wiiliam & George Naish.They
are down as stepsons of the head ( William) and all of a correct age.
14,11&8 respectively all born in Bishopstone.
There is no sign of the eldest daughter Charlotte probably married by 1851.
But her eldest son John I believe is my ancestor, John Read ‘Naish’ christened 5-3-1826 Bishopstrow [Bishopstone?], Wilts, mother Elizabeth Naish
