Steve, my grandmother Bertha Emma Nairn Baker was born in Calhoun Co., Illinois and came to Caldwell,Ks. in about 1891 or 92. She married here in Caldwell to Herbert William Baker and also died here in Caldwell. She is buried here in the Caldwell City cemetary. Her father was Charles Nairn and her grandfather was Capt. John Nairn of Calhoun Co. Ill. He was a Capt. in the Civil War. Capt. John is buried in the Twichell/Fuller cemetary in Calhoun Co.
There is a John Nairn in Altanta, Ga. researching my line.
Sorry I can't be of much help to you.
Geraldine
