I'm hoping that someone can help me find out about the parents, etc. of my ancestor John Nairn.
He died in Keith, Banffshire (Scotland) in 1875.
His wife was Margaret MacPherson (1809-1865) and his father was also John Nairn, a miller.
His mother's name wasn't given on his death certificate. John and Margarets children's names were Jane(b. 1834), John(b. 1837), Margaret(b. 1842), James (b abt.1849), Jannet(b. 1851), and Jessie(b. abt. 1852.
I don't know at the moment where or when to look for John (seniors) birth, marriage or death.
