That helps a lot! Keziah Murphey and Elizabeth her sister were raised by Rebecca Murphy, who may be James Murpheys second wife, meaning that by 1860 both James and Frances had died. By the 1870 census Keziah Murphey had married Edward Fletcher Brown from Kentucky and Eliz. married John or TK, Chandler. The Brown family with their two small little girls, Bertie and Bettie, had an accident in their wagon about 1873 and It killed Kaziah, Edward could not be found. The girls were found crying but alive and they went to live with Sarah Angelia and husband John Chandler who raised them until they married. After John Chandler died Sarah Angelina did marry Mr. Vaden and it was his decendents that ended up with home. I was told it was torn down in the late 1950's. The plantation, if I remember right had over a 1000 acres before the civil war and Rebecca was very wealthy as was the Chandlers. So right now it looks like the parents of Keziah were James Murphey and Frances Bynum. Today a brick wall fell, thanks to you Eileen Nail.
