WILLIAM M. NAGLE/NAGLEE
Looking for any information about a William M. Nagle (sometimes spelled Naglee) who lived on MOYOMENSING St. in Philadelphia, Pa. before 1811-through 1833.He appears to have been between 30 and 40 in the 1820 census and as listed as a Shipwright in most of the records. He had a wife and quite a few children in the census records. In later years, he is listed as a victual seller in the City Directories.HE and his family were nextdoor neighbors of my Cope family and there is a good chance that one of his daughters became the wife of my 3ggrandfather Charles COpe.This is speculation only however.Could anyone tell me what nationality this spelling might infer? Thanks!
