Hello to all who click to read my post message!

My name is Eudora (Nachand) Olsen My fathers name was Harry Arthur Nachand, his father's name was Edward Henry Nachand and his father's name was John Phillip Nachand. John Phillip, my great grandfather came to America from Bavaria some time between 1834 - 1871 and settled in Calhoun, Illinois. I am tracing our family history.
Great Grandfather married a Malissa (Bradley, maiden name) McQuire on March 5, 1865.

When John Phillip traved by ship to America, he traveled with his brother, John Thomas and John's wife Catherine. I haven't quite located which ship yet, but am still searching.

Great Grandfather John Phillip and Great Grandmother Malissa had only two children and they were, Thomas Oliver later changed to Oliver Thomas and Edward Henry. Great Grandfather John Phillip was a wagon maker in Illinois, but I am not yet sure which company he worked for or which make of wagon's he helped make.

If amy of these names, sound familiar, please contact me at rattaroo@hotmail.com , I'd love to hear from you.
