Barbara, your place names make some sense if "d" is translated to "ck". I think the documents are referring to Rockhill Township, Bucks County. There are quite a few Ness/Neas/Nase entries on the township tax rolls for that period. I didn't do a complete transcription of the microfilms; I was looking for my ancestor John Nace alias Johannas Nass (1770-1833).

One other interesting Nace connection to Rockhill: to this day, there is a village of Naceville in West Rockhill Township. You can see it on this topo map:
