Patricia,
I don't know if this is a connection to your George Nace.My ancestors (Millers) purchased the property that was granted "in consideration of the services rendered by George Nace, private, late, in the Army of the United States...granted by said Commonwealth unto the said George Nace a certain tract or parcel of land lying in the county of Westmoreland in the second district of the donation lands" according to the deed dated April 5th, 1787.I don't believe that George Nace or his descendants ever settled on the property in present day Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. The deed is transcribed on my Miller website:http://www.pitt.edu/~spano/deed.htmhttp://www.pitt.edu/~spano/deed.htm
