I am a great granddaughter of Lewis Myott, Williams's brother. I beleive we have had some previous contact through my sister Marilyn. My mother, Odila and my brother Jim attendend the William Myott reunion a couple of years ago. Our grandfather was Thomas Francis Myott and our father Edmund Lewis Myott. I know everyone has been trying to find out who Alanson's parents were. I did find a message on the Canada geneology forum that mentions a family with various spellings such as Maillotte, Mayott, Mayotte and Myatt living in Altona, New York in the 1780's. Altona is very near the Canadian border and iwss 150 miles from Denmark, New York where Alanson & Orellia Morse (Masse) were married. There are many Myott's living now in Vermont, some of whom have been there since moving from New York. I would love to have you send the gedcom of Orellia.
