This is the Widow Myers Tavern family from Turtle Creek Pittsburgh or otherwise known as Braddock's Field where General Barddock was wounded July 9 1755. He died a day ot two later at Christopher Gist's homestead in Uniontown.

It seems that this family usually had spelled their name Miers and it's indeed noted in George Washington's log as Miers. Although other records say Myers.
