It was my understanding they owned 1000's of acres in Coultersville PA and striped coal off their land. They were known in and around Mckeesport area as the Coulter Myers' What is the most interesting about this History is Jacob Myers the Tinner. When this was written in 1889, Jacob Myers the Tinner had a wife and 5 children. None of Jacob Myers' family are in this posting and none of them are buried with the Coulter Myers' at St Mary's.
