Hoping someone out there can make a connection to my Myers family. I have been researching my great grandfather for years and have been unable to find where he was born or who his family was. Census record of 1880 Jackson County, Indiana shows him being born in Indiana as well as his mother and father. Family tales state he came to Indiana with a brother from possibly Pennsylvania and settled in Indiana. I have no proof of any of this. Jacob married Mildred W. Ross June 25, 1871 in Jackson County. His obit states he was born abt 1852 unknown and died July 1897 in Jennings County, Indiana. I have no other information on Jacob except his children

Archibald R. b. abt 1878 (no info)
Asbury Nelson b. 1881
Chester B. Myers b. 1883
Arna B. b. 1886
Lura M. b. 1891
Jacob and Mildred lived in the areas of Jennings and Jackson Counties while Jacob cleared land. John and family moved to Hoopeston, Illinois. Asbury moved to Illinois and Ohio. Chester moved to Louisville, Kentucky. Arna married Nathan Smith and moved to Streator, Illinois. Lura married James Ross and lived in Jennings and Clinton Counties Indiana.
