I thought I would answer this because both Fayette County and Fayette City is are very close to Pittsburgh. There are several Pittsburgh Myers familys I am following. One Myers family would be suppliers to both the French and Indian War and the Revolutionary War. They would be connected to the Gratz Brothers of Philadelphia and to Christopher Gist. They also could be located at Fayette City PA which is right on the river.
