I have been searching for many years for a Myers(Myres) man who married Sarah Jane Greathouse. I have never found a marriage record, a first name for him, or the death of either person. On the 1860 Webster County, Missouri census I find Sarah Jane Myres listed with her three sons, William Columbus, Francis Marion, and my great grandfather Michael. She is in the house with her father and siblings. Her father is Michael Greathouse. On the 1870 census the sons are living with aunts and uncles. At one time when he was newly married, Michael is listed as Isaac. He married Martha Jane Deckard in 1880. I so much wish to find out what happened to her and who the father of the children were.
