Am trying to find family of Henry E.(Ell) Myer who states he was born in Tennessee. He said his Father was from Maryland and Mother Virginia. I have searched for any ties to the many Myer families in Maryland who ended up in Iowa and those from TN. It was always said Henry had several brothers with him in the family who ended up in Iowa also. it is possible the name was spelled Meyer also. Henry was born 1842-1845 in TN. Married an Amelia Stone than a Elizabeth McCulla-had a large family in Iowa and than was gone-Civil War???? No death record for him?
Any help appreciated for his 90 year old grandson. Thank You
