GEO. MUTTER, confectioner, No. 602 Grand Avenue, was born near Praugh, Germany, in (s/b 1846) 1844; came to Kenosha County when a child, where his parents still reside.In 1864 he commenced to learn the trunk business in Racine.He coon after enlisted in Company F, 39th Wisconsin Infantry; served 4 months, then returned to Racine and worked at the trunk business till 1874, when he established his present business.Mr Mutter married Josie Secor in 1870.She eas born in Bohemia and came to America with her parents (to Racine) when a child.They have 4 children- 2 sons and 2 daughters.
